Palin and Hanson, who were high school sweethearts, share a daughter named Kyla, who is 1. Palin, who makes $42,800 a year, will pay his soon-to-be ex-wife $642 a month in child support.
The Huffington Post reports that the two got married in May of 2011 and welcomed Kyla just three months later.
“We want to keep our personal lives private and we don't want to say anything about each other or the situation," Hanson told RadarOnline about the divorce and custody arrangement.
As for the split, she says "I'm fine with it," adding, "We just filed the papers so we aren't divorced yet. I'm not sure how long it will take to get the divorced finalized."
