Justin Bieber’s life was on the line, unknowingly, as two New Mexico men were planning on killing and castrating the young popstar.
According to USA Today, local New Mexico newspaper KRQE informs that two men were arrested for plotting to kill Bieber, his bodyguard and others by strangling the “Boyfriend” singer and dismembering him.
The two men, Mark Staake and his nephew Tanner Ruane planned to travel to New York City where Bieber would perform-and that is where they planned to take the young heartthrob out.
Staake was recruited by Dana Martin, a convicted killer serving two life sentences in a prison near Las Cruces where the two men served time together. Martin insisted that Staake and Ruane head to Vermont to kill two of his acquaintances and from there head to kill Bieber and his boyguard, who Martin reportedly is obsessed with. According to the report, Martin has a tattoo of Bieber on his leg.
Staake was in charge of strangling the victims with a paisley tie, a reported signature move of David. His nephew was in charge of castrating the men.
So how did Bieber’s would-be murderers get caught?
Martin turned in the two men, telling the police the whole plan. Staake was arrested on outstanding warrants in Vermont before picking off the two former acquaintances and Ruane was arrested in New York after police recorded his phone calls.
Ruane was found with “murder tools” as well as pruning shears.
