'The Voice' Recap: Top Six Results

Last night, the top six vocalists left in The Voice competition took the stage. Their performances ranged from rock ‘n’ roll to jaw dropping ballads. Tonight, the live results were announced.

To open the show, Ne-Yo took the stage with Amanda Brown from Team Adam. Ne-Yo and Brown performed his chart topping single, “Let Me Love You.”

Trevin Hunte and Terry McDermott from Team Cee Lo and Team Blake took the stage to perform the new One Republic song, “Feel Again.”

The first artist that was announced safe was Terry McDermott from Team Blake.

Following that announcement, Cassadee Pope and Amanda Brown teamed up to perform a Kelly Clarkson classic, “Breakaway.”

The next artist to join McDermott in the top four was Trevin Hunte from Team Cee Lo.

Matchbox Twenty took the stage to perform their new single, “Overjoyed.” Trevin Hunte and Nicholas David from Team Cee Lo joined Rob Thomas to sing the new single.

The next artist who joined Hunte in the top four was Cassadee Pope from Team Blake. This advanced all of his team forward to the top four.

Before the rest of the results could be learned, Melanie Martinez and Nicholas David took to the stage to perform “Criminal,” by Fiona Apple.

It was announced that Melanie Martinez would be leaving the competition tonight.

The last artist that advanced to the top four was Nicholas David from Team Cee Lo, meaning that Amanda Brown from Team Adam was eliminated and that all of Team Adam was eliminated.

The semi-finals of The Voice will start on Monday with the top four artists. Only Team Blake and Team Cee Lo advanced to the top four.
