85th Academy Awards announced, nine films nominated for Best Picture

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 85th Academy Awards this morning in Los Angeles. Oscars host Seth MacFarlane and Gangster Squad actress Emma Stone announced the nominees during a press conference.

Here are the nominees for the major Oscars, which honor the best in 2012.
