$9 million lawsuit against Justin BIeber dismissed

Justin Bieber has claimed victory in a lawsuit which sought $9 million in damages.

As we previously reported, in July Stacey Betts filed suit against the Biebs following a concert she attended with her daughter in 2010. Betts claims the noise from the singing and screaming Bieber fans was so deafening that the sounds from the concert shattered her ear drums.

According to TMZ, the lawsuit has since been dropped and Betts states she cannot go forward with the lawsuit as she had planned on fighting without the help of a lawyer. The documents to dismiss her case were filed sometime last week.

At the time Betts claimed that a heart shaped device acted as a sound conductor and has since been dealing with “whooshing” and pulsing sounds making it difficult for her to sleep.

TMZ notes that Betts maintains that her claims are true, but moving forward with the case without an attorney is nearly impossible.
