By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Maroon 5 front man and The Voice mentor Adam Levine is slated to host the January 26 episode of Saturday Night Live.

NBC announced the news of Levine’s hosting on Thursday, New York Daily News reports, noting that he will be joined by musical guest Kendrick Lamar.

Levine’s hosting adds to his already growing resume which includes guest spots in American Horror Story: Asylum as well as songs on such soundtracks as Love Actually, Something’s Gotta Give and He’s Just Not That Into You.

Levine will follow such hosts as Jamie Foxx and Anne Hathaway who previously served as host, and will also follow The Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence who is slated to host the hit comedy sketch show on January 19.

According to Vulture, Levine has performed on the show four times and has appeared in sketches twice as himself. He first appeared in the Jeremy Renner sketch The Stand Off as well as singing “Iran So Far Away.”

The network has not revealed hints as to what sort of sketches Levine will tackle this time around.
