Adele says she wants to step into Broadway and TV

After releasing multiple hit singles, Adele is looking forward to broadening her horizons in the future, instead of solely focusing on music.

Although Adele just had the honor of winning a Golden Globe for her song “Skyfall”, she shared that she is looking forward to branching out into other aspects of the entertainment world.

In her acceptance speech, Adele thanked her newborn son, as well as her boyfriend, whom she credited for pushing her to take on the project for the Bond film.

Adele's appearance at the Golden Globes was her first since she gave birth back in October 2012. She shared her excitement exclaiming, “Honestly, I've came for a night out!”

When asked about her recent big win at the Globes she gushed to The Sun, “It’s surreal and hilarious. It’s not my field. Amazing actors have these awards. The next step is Broadway and a TV show. I’m going to do a Whoopi,” reports Perez Hilton.

Just Jared reports the singer was just recently shopping in West Hollywood at a baby store for her new son, but tried to hide from the paparazzi with sunglasses and a bag blocking her face.

Adele is also rumored to be performing at the Oscars on February 24.
