The 24-year-old new mom won a Golden Globe award for her song "Skyfall" and dedicated the award to her baby son, also thanking her boyfriend Simon Konecki.
After being absent from the red carpet for 12 weeks, the British singer admitted that she was not expecting to win, and joked around about the award night, The Daily Mail reported.
“Honestly I’ve come here for a night out!” she said.
She then continued, "I was not expecting this... thank you so much for letting me be a part of your world for a night. I've been p**sing myself laughing."
She thanked her 38-year-old boyfriend, Konecki, for convincing her to go to the event, and dedicated the award to her son.
“This is for my boyfriend who convinced me to do it and for my lovely son."
According to E!, Adele and Konecki had their son on October 19 last year, and she had announced her pregnancy on her blog beforehand.
The singer and the CEO of a charity organization Drop4Drop were initially spotted together in January 2012, and they were rumored to be married.
Adele, however, turned it down by tweeting, “I am not married.”
