Adrienne Maloof explains ‘casual’ relationship with Rod Stewart’s son Sean

Recently divorced Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof has been spotted with her new boyfriend, Sean Stewart, recently. She explained how the ‘casual’ relationship developed and put some rumors to rest.

In an interview with People, Maloof, 51, discussed how her relationship with the 32-year-old son of singer Rod Stewart began.

“This started as a business relationship and now we're casually dating,” she emphasized. “It's casual, real casual.”

As for concerns about the 19-year age difference, Maloof says that Sean is more mature than some would expect. He is “a lot more mature than a lot of 60-year-olds at this time in his life.” He has put his partying days behind him and has “been clean and sober for years,” she says.

The interview came amidst rumors that the two had already moved in together. “Sean has moved into Adrienne’s Mulholland Estates rental home,” a source told Perez Hilton. “A lot of Adrienne’s friends are extremely concerned about the relationship because it’s getting very serious very fast.”

However, she told People that these rumors aren’t true. “We are not living together. He has his own place. He has a nice place,” she told the magazine.

“I'm a modern businesswoman,” she added. “I don’t think of age.”

As for Sean’s famous father, she thinks he’s “lovely” and a “very nice person.”
