America’s Next Top Model winner Lisa D’Amato was in a serious accident which left her with a broken nose and lacerations on her lips and chin.

According to E! News the All Star winner was in Colorado wrapping filming on the Indie film Cowboys and Indians when she and some coworkers were messing around.

She explains to People, “We were just kind of monkeying around,” noting that she was doing a handstand when a crew member fell on top of her, causing D’Amato to fall on her face, crushing her nose and cutting her skin.

“It was a totally freak accident…It wasn't like we were doing back flips off the balcony."

Following her injuries, the 32-year-old model/actress has posted several photos of her recovery on both Facebook and Instagram.

“I am recovering very well. So well, that I'll have no scars and look even better. Thanks to those that have been compassionate with heartfelt words of encouragement,” she wrote on Instagram Thursday.

D’Amato is expected to make a full recovery.
