Angel Haze and Azealia Banks engage in heated Twitter war

Rappers Angel Haze and Azealia Banks are engaging in a heated girl-fight-Twitter-war that is still ongoing and has since resulted in a diss track from Haze.

The feud began after Banks tweeted, “Seriously, if you were not born and raised in NY .... DON'T CLAIM NY. YOU ARE NOT A NEW YORKER,” MTV reports.

The two women continued their Twitter banter, with Banks adding, “Angel Haze has a crush on me. Thats it. Case Closed," and Angel replying, "bitch, i dragged you....youre struggling to reach like your edges are.... stopppp @AZEALIABANKS.

MTV notes that it only took a few hours before the heated Twitter battle resulted in a diss track, entitled “On the Edge,” which is specifically aimed at Banks, stating, “I'm busy killing these bitches" and "I'm the only one you ain't tweet!"

She also reportedly slammed Banks’s track, “Succubi.”

Haze’s manager disputes that his client started the war of words. “Angel didnt start this sh*t.... mermaid asked for this.. theres more to it than tweets,” he wrote.

Banks later followed, writing, “YOU WANT THE P---Y SOOOO BADDDDDD @ANGELHAZE LOLOL..this diss track is not even hot!!! lmfaooooooooooo !!!!!!"

The rapper then followed slamming Perez Hilton, before later apologizing to tweeters about her language, but to Hilton directly. “Unpleasant meddling woman = bitch, unpleasant meddling man = Perez Hilton,” she wrote Friday evening. “My most sincere apologies to anyone who was indirectly offended by my foul language. Not sorry for Perez tho. Lol.”

MTV notes that the war may be far from over.
