While Ben Affleck has had nothing but success in Hollywood, he says he doesn't his kids – Violet, 7, Serphina 4, and Sam, 11 months – to become child stars at a young age.

E! reports that the actor stated, “I would do whatever I could to discourage that. My kids have enough issues of being exposed in ways that I don't want them to be exposed, in magazines and shows and stuff."
Affleck goes on to talk about his children's future interests saying, “you know, if you're interested in drama, there's great theater classes and stuff and that's what's appropriate.”
In the past month Affleck won awards for Best Director and Best Picture, Drama for the film Argo at the Golden Globes. Additionally, the movie just won the Darryl F. Zanuck award at the PGAs.
Always the family man, Us Weekly shares the star thanked his loved ones when accepting his recent PGA.
“I want to thank my kids, who are lovely and beautiful. I want to thank my wife without whom I wouldn't be able to do anything, let alone direct movies.”
