Beyonce indirectly responds to lip-syncing controversy with a piece of clothing

By Gina DiFalco,

Beyonce has been subject of a controversy following her performance of the “Star Spangled Banner” at President Obama’s second inauguration.

Reports surfaced last week from a spokesperson for the U.S. Marine Corp Band that the “Love on Top” singer had lip-synced the national anthem, which set off a media firestorm.

While many of Beyonce’s peers have come to her defense, such as Aretha Franklin, Jennifer Lopez, her Destiny’s Child band member Michelle Williams, Anderson Cooper and more, she hasn’t directly responded to any of it.

But according to E! Online, Beyonce posted a picture to Instagram might’ve just been a message to all the naysayers.

Blue Ivy’s mom posted a picture of herself wearing a sweatshirt that reads, “Can I live?”

The picture was part of many that she posted on Friday to show fans her behind-the-scenes rehearsals for this Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show. She is rumored to be reuniting with her Destiny's Child group members for the highly-anticipated show.
