CBS is back from its winter break, with The Big Bang Theory and Person of Interest roaring back on Thursday night. The network only had to compete with repeats and Fox’s Mobbed marathon.
CBS lead the night with 14.895 million viewers and a 3.7 18-49 rating. Big Bang started the night with an amazing 18.98 million viewers, the show’s largest audience ever, notes The Hollywood Reporter It laos matched its high 18-49 rating with a 6.0.
Two and a Half Men followed with a season high 15.39 million viewers and a 4.6 18-49 rating, a 12 percent jump over its last new episode on Dec. 13, notes Deadline. Person of Interest followed with 16.135 million viewers and a 3.4 18-49 rating, earning its largest audience ever. Elementary also dominated at 11 p.m. with 11.36 million viewers and a 2.5 18-49 rating.
According to HitFix, everyone else was left in the dust. ABC’s night of Nashville and Scandal repeats averaged just 3.25 million viewers and a 0.8 18-49 rating.
Fox’s Mobbed marathon had 2.9 million viewers and a 1.1 18-49 rating.
NBC aired repeats of its Thursday sitcoms and Rock Center, averaging 2.52 million viewers and a 0.8 18-49 rating.
The CW’s repeats of Vampire Diaries and Beauty and the Beast had just 996,000 viewers and a 0.4 18-49 rating.
