Rockers Bob Seger and Kid Rock, who are longtime friends, are getting together for a pair of shows in March.
According to Billboard, Seger and Kid Rock will perform at the Xcel Energy Dome in Minneapolis/St. Paul on March 15. They will team up again on the next day in Fargo, North Dakota at the Fargo Dome.
USA Today reports that the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and the younger musician, both from Michigan, have been friends since they met in 2000. Kid Rock inducted Seger into the Hall of Fame in 2004 and later made an appearance on Face the Promise. Seger then appeared on Kid Rock’s Born Free, playing piano on the Sheryl Crow duet “Collide.”
Seger and his Silver Bullet Band will start their “Rock and Roll Never Forgets” tour in Toledo, Ohio on Feb. 27 and will continue through April 2 with a date in Denver.
Kid Rock, who just released Rebel Soul, will also be on tour, starting Feb. 2 and continuing through April.
Tickets for their shows together go on sale Jan. 26.
