Britney Spears created a Las Vegas hotel war

By Gavriella Tjandra,

Las Vegas Caesars Palace was not the only place that wanted Britney Spears, there were two other properties that had tossed offers.

According to TMZ, Spears was in a serious negotiation with one of the properties, linked to Caesars, to perform multiple nights a week on a regular basis, and making regular appearances in clubs and pool events.

These hotels were reportedly in a bidding war to get Britney performing on their premises.

A rumor had been going on about this Las Vegas hotel war that Britney had signed a $200 million contract, which TMZ confirmed wrong. There is no deal that has been signed so far.

A source linked to the negotiations said that Britney could earn more than $100 million, because that was how much Celine Dion earned while she was a resident.

Britney reportedly decided to be a resident in the world’s gambling capital after her break-up with former fiancé Jason Trawick, and leaving X-Factor.

There was recent news, as reported by The Daily Mail, that said friends and fans of the "Circus" singer were worried about her, dealing with the long-term contract Las Vegas hotel had to offer, after leaving the talent show and splitting up with Trawick.

One of them told The Daily Mail, “I'm not sure just how good an idea Vegas is for Britney right now. If she can't handle the X Factor - how will she be able to perform five days a week in Vegas?”
