Britney Spears was not out of work for long! The singer has been signed with CAA just hours after news of her The X Factor departure.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, CAA records has signed the pop-princess and will represent her worldwide “and in all areas.” As we previously reported, Spears stepped down from her position as judge on The X Factor following reports that she would be fired.
THR notes that the 31-year-old “Hold It Against Me” singer is currently working on her eighth studio album which will feature the likes of Will.i.am and Ester Dean.
Spears previously worked with Will.i.am on their newest single “Scream and Shout.”
In addition to her upcoming album, Deadline reports that Spears is also looking into a potential scripted comedy. Spears has previously dabbled in such sitcoms as Will and Grace and How I Met Your Mother. She is also reportedly looking into moving to Las Vegas in the hopes of signing on for a show.
