Anyone up for another dead Uncle Charlie scene in Two and a Half Men? Charlie Sheen sure hopes so as he has informed that he’d like the chance to get back on the show.
Sheen sat down with late night talk show host David Letterman where the host discussed his infamous behavior that got him booted from the show. According to Entertainment Weekly, Letterman asked the 47-year-old actor if he has any remorse regarding his actions from 2011, which sent him packing from the CBS sitcom as well as stunned many of his fans as he boasted “tiger blood” and attempted to coin the catchphrase “winning.”
“Of course,” Sheen replied, “Have you seen some of those interviews? That stuff’s out there forever, man.”
Letterman questioned if he would ever seek the chance to appear back on the show, despite the fact that his character was killed off the season Ashton Kutcher took over the lead role. Sheen responded, “I am dead, but so’s the show.” How’s that for a violent torpedo of truth?”
The show is quite dead and Sheen states as we previously reported, CBS president Nina Tassler expressed her desire for another season of the hit sitcom.
Currently, Sheen stars in Anger Management, his first return to television following his infamous meltdown. The show is well into its second season and has done well despite speculation. Sheen is slated to star alongside Lindsay Lohan in Scary Movie 5 and is rumored to take on the role of the president in Machete Kills.
