BlackBerry has finally caught up with its all touch BlackBerry Z10.
The new line of BlackBerry smartphones were revealed to the world Wednesday. The new phone plans to compete heavily with Apples iPhone and Google’s Android.
According to The New York Times BlackBerry upgraded its operating system to BB10. BlackBerry only holds 4.6 percent of smartphone owners today.
On the new 4.2-inch screened smartphone there is no button for a home page.
“Today represents a new day in the history of BlackBerry,” Mr. Heins said. “These BlackBerry 10 devices are absolutely the best typing experiences in the industry.”
The other BlackBerry 10 device Heins is talking about is the BlackBerry Q10, which features a traditional physical keyboard.
The Wall Street Journal thinks that current BlackBerry and other smartphone owners could possible “shun” the new phone. BlackBerry fans might not like that there is no physical keyboard. iPhone and Android owners could possibly dislike the small selection of apps.
The new line of Blackberry phones are due out soon on all four major cell phone carriers with the Z10 being priced at $200.
