The former Friends star had nothing to say but nice things to say about her ex-husband.
Cox admitted that Arquette had been her best friend who had grown to understand her and allow her to understand him in return.
“He is my best friend, and I appreciate him more than I ever did,” the 48-year-old actress stated in an interview in Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show airing on Monday, according to E! Online.
“I love him,” she added.
She also mentioned the difficulties of divorcing for both of them and their only child Coco Arquette.
“I don’t recommend divorces in general, but he is my best friend and we've both grown and changed and I think we both appreciate each other more."
“I hope he does. I do,” Cox stated in the interview, as stated in E!.
The couple had been splitting up since 2010, and filed for divorce on June 2012, citing irreconcilable differences, as stated in The Miami Herald.
Both Cox and Arquette had created the Coquette Productions together, producing Cox’s latest TV series Cougar Town, and quite a number of other series throughout the last 10 years.
