Daniel Radcliffe talks about sex scene in Sundance’s ‘Kill Your Darlings’

Daniel Radcliffe pushes himself further away from the character Harry Potter by playing the role of late gay beat poet Allen Ginsberg in the new film Kill Your Darlings. He has several man-on-man sex scenes in the film. The young star recently talked about his new mature role.

Radcliffe discussed the film with E! Online,in which he referred to one steamy sex scene, saying, “It was something new ... but you know what, we shot the whole scene in maybe an hour and a half so it was incredibly fast paced. I didn’t really have time to stop to think and worry about it.”

There are also scenes involving alcohol and drugs. He admits that it is the “weird stuff” that attracted him to the role.

The film premiered on Friday at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. Director John Krodidas spent almost 11 years to bring this film to screen, reported Hollywood.com. Kill Your Darlings stars Daniel Radcliffe, Dane DeHaan and Ben Foster.
