Destiny's Child to release first new song in eight years

Destiny’s Child is set to release their first new song in eight years.

The girl group plans to release a compilation of what is considered their most romantic tracks for an album titled Love Songs, Rolling Stone reports.

“Nuclear,” their newest track, was produced by Pharrell Williams.
Love Songs is slated for a Jan. 29 release and will include such hits as “Brown Eyes,” “Now That She’s Gone,” Cater 2 U” as well as the chart topping hit, “Say My Name.”

Destiny’s Child, a powerful girl group of the late '90s, includes the vocal sounds of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and stopped recording new music in 2005. The women went their separate ways and released several solo albums as well as Beyonce appearing in several movies including Austin Powers in Goldmember,The Fighting Temptations and Dreamgirls.

Rowland has starred in a fair share of films and television programs including Think Like a Man, Girlfriends and American Dreams.
