‘Doctor Who’ will continue latest time-travel adventures March 30 on BBC America

American Whovians can rejoice that their ‘favourite’ Doctor is returning to the states Saturday, March 30 on BBC America’s Supernatural Saturday block.

Series 7 of Doctor Who will consist of the remaining eight episodes, picking up after the Doctor’s (Matt Smith) Christmas special adventure with new, mysterious companion Clara Oswin Oswald (Jenna-Louise Coleman), BBC America announced today.

Episodes of the long-running time travel drama will include ones written by showrunner Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss, Stephen Thompson and famous comics author Neil Gaiman, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The sci-fi show concluded its seventh series’ first half with the departure of the Eleventh Doctor’s longtime companions, spouses Amy Pond and Rory Williams (Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill), sent back in time permanently by the Weeping Angels in “The Angels Take Manhattan.”
