Ellen Page's stalker ordered to stay away

Ellen Page had a stalker who threatened to kill her, but has been ordered to stay away from her, and forbidden to contact her in any ways for three years by the court.

According to TMZ, the LAPD investigated the threats made to the actress via Twitter last year, and found all sort of tweets threatened the actress' life.

The Inquisitr reported some of the tweets that said "I’m going to murder Ellen Page. She’s dead."

"Ellen Page if you continue to date Alexander [Skarsgard] I will K-1-L-L you in public in then ext year … Be it in a club, in a restaurant, or when you’re signing autographs," another read.

This led the LAPD to investigate the message thread in Twitter, by getting more information about the account from Twitter. They used the additional information to trail the stalker, whose name is Joshua Michael Myers.

Other than tweets, Myers had also made threatening phone calls to the Juno actress.

Page had received threatening phone calls while attending the premiere of Woody Allen's To Rome With Love last June at the LA Film Festival. The LAPD said that the stalker threatened to show up and "kill Page," reports TMZ.

Page was present in the court hearing.
