Silver Linings Playbook actor Bradley Cooper was serenaded by hundreds of fans who chanted Happy Birthday to the recently turned 38-year-old actor.
According to People, Cooper, who turned 38 on Saturday, arrived at the 24th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala was greeted by his many, many fans who were there to only see their favorite actor, but to wish him a very happy birthday.
"Bradley started interacting with his fans and then they broke out into song, chanting 'Happy birthday to you,'" a source reveals to People.
Another onlooker adds, "It seemed very unexpected. He seemed a little shy and embarrassed by it, but while managing to smile still."
Cooper is slated to star in three films this year which include Serena, costarring his Silver Linings Playbook costar Jennifer Lawrence as well as Toby Jones. He is currently filming the third installment in The Hangover series and is also taking an Untitled David O.Russell/Abscam Project and the Untitled Cameron Crowe Project alongside Emma Stone. It does not have a release date.
