George Clooney pays a stranger's tab at Berlin restaurant

As if fans needed any more reason to love actor George Clooney, The Descendants actor bought lunch for a neighboring table in the hopes his loud conversation didn’t disturb their meal.

According to Omg! Yahoo, the 51-year-old actor was enjoying lunch with friends at Grill Royal restaurant in Berlin when he felt his conversations became a little too loud for a public place. Clooney opted to buy the meal for the nearby table, with their bill totaling around $135.

One of the men floored by the Ocean Eleven actor's generosity commented recalls to the German Blid newspaper, “They had behaved in a very cultivated manner,” adding that he was “floored” to find that his bill had been picked up.

The unidentified man then went over to Clooney’s table and left his card insisting he hopes to repay the favor one day.

According to the man, he had no idea it was Clooney who paid his tab until the manager pointed him out.

Although many of us don’t have the pleasure of being graced by Clooney’s presence, he can be seen in Gravity alongside Sandra Bullock which hits theaters in October. He will follow with roles in The Monuments Men and Tomorrowland.
