Heroes actress Tawny Cypress 36, is being sued by her ex-husband. Bill Charles claims Cypress' current boyfriend attacked him back in June. Charles claimed he was on his way to a restaurant in Brooklyn when Tom Dillon, Cypress' current man, struck him on the head with an object.

E! News reported that the lawsuit was filed in New York and Charles claims Cypress dubiously orchestrated the whole affair. He claims that Tawny arranged a meeting with him and their shared son Dexter at Cheeburger Cheeburger in Brooklyn's park Slope neighborhood. Charles also claims that Cypress and Dillon told police that Charles attacked Dexter, sending Charles to jail.

Cypress' manager, Judith Lesley, refutes Charles' claims:

"Apparently a good samaritan stepped in to stop a man from abusing a child."

Lesley continues, "Ms. Cypress and Mr. Dillon don't know that person but are very thankful he was there. They assume the police have the tapes and all relevant information. The attempts to drag Ms. Cypress and Mr. Dillon through the mud in the papers will be addressed in court."

Charles also claims that Tom Dillon was "lying in waiting" and physically accosted him with a "hard object." He also claims he suffered serious injury as a result.

According to the New York Post, Charles' representation, attorney Robert Feldman, stated, "The relatively minor charges against my client are merely a distraction from the attempted murder that Thomas Dillon committed against my client."

Feldman reportedly told E! News that he and his client have photos and videos to validate their allegations of assault.
