Mary O'Connor, who was featured on the popular E! series "Girls Next Door" has passed away at the age of 82. Hugh Hefner confirmed the news via his Twitter account writing, "Mary passed away today. We loved her more than words can say."
According to Us Weekly, Mary had worked with Hefner for more than 40 years. Sources tell Us that the entire mansion is taking the news very hard.
As People notes, O'Connor served as a housemother to the bunnies bringing warmth and wisdom to the mansion. Former playgirl Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett tweeted “She was an amazing person who helped me through so much.”
The cause of death has not yet been made public but based on Hefner's recent tweets, she had been sick as of late January. He wrote "Crystal is going to visit Mary O'Connor, who is not doing very well. Mary has our prayers. We all love her." It was O'Connor, Hefner says, that brought him and now fiancée Crystal Harris back together.
