The Hulk Hogan sex tape saga is not over. The former wrestling star still wants the website Gawker to pay for leaking the video, a portion of which is still available on the site.
Hogan had been threatening to sue Gawker from the moment the tape was posted in October of last year. The tape had been reported on by TMZ in March, but it was finally seen when Gawker posted a 90-minute clip.
He then filed a $100 million lawsuit against the site in tandem with another suit against his friend, Bubba the Love Sponge, and his wife, Heather Clem, who Hogan has sex with in the tape.
Although the suit with Bubba was settled, Hogan is still going after Gawker.
According to TMZ, Hogan had dismissed the case himself without prejudice in federal court last month. He refiled the suit today in Florida state court, where his suit against Clem is still ongoing.
Hogan’s lawyer told the site that Hogan refiled the suit in state court to make sure that both cases were handled by the same court.
Hogan had accused Bubba of leaking the tape and the radio host eventually apologized on air. The two settled the lawsuit.
