An Icelandic man thought it would be a great idea to consume an entire bottle of alcohol and begin harassing both workers and patrons on a flight from Iceland to New York's JFK airport.
The 46-year-old man was then duct taped and gagged during a six hour flight from Iceland to the U.S after consuming an entire bottle of duty free alcohol, New York Daily News reports.
The unidentified man was reportedly spitting on others, grabbing women and harassing airline workers before air passengers intervened and subdued the man with duct tape. User Mezane posted the story on Reddit along with a photograph detailing the experience.
Mezane explains, “He drank an entire bottle of some duty free alcohol. Then he tried grabbing the women who were sitting next him screaming that we're going to crash. Finally he started chocking [sic] a guy next to him and that's when a huge crowd restrained him and tied him up. This was 2 hours into a 6 hour flight.”
The story has received 546 comments in just under 24 hours.
So far, the restrained man has not been charged in the matter, but was escorted off of the plane by Port Authority, Daily News notes.
