Actor James Franco posted - and then later deleted - a video of himself lip-syncing to Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend."
James Franco may be called a lot of things, but one trait he is NOT is predictable. You never know what to expect from the 127 Hours star.
He recently took to his public WhoSay account to post a video of himself lip-syncing to Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend” anthem. He is joined by his Spring Breakers co-star Ashley Benson.
He impersonates Bieber in his sarcastic rendition as closely as possible with similar hair and outfit choice (snapback hat included), and Ashley wears a brunette wig to appear more like Selena Gomez, or at least the dark-haired girl in Bieber’s “Boyfriend” video. The sarcasm is evident in this video with Franco’s exaggerated “gangsta” hand gestures and over the top dance moves.
Whether it was fear over the thought of an angry response from the many Beliebers that frightened Franco or the borderline raunchy dancing featured in the video, he later deleted the video from his account, but not before it was uploaded to YouTube.
E! Online reported earlier in October that Benson and Franco were a couple. Apparently the duo was spotted at Universal Studios cuddling and holding hands.
Since that incident, he has made it clear that rumor is completely false. According to Us Magazine, Franco laughs about the situation, claiming he is a “lucky guy” for being linked to women like Kristen Stewart, Ashley Benson, and Selena Gomez all at the same time.
