Jay-Z and Beyonce pay $1 million a year for Blue Ivy Barclay's play area

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Blue Ivy Carter, daughter of A-list couple Beyonce and Jay-Z, lives the high life even when she is not at home as she enjoys a playroom in Barclays Center valued at a reported $1 million.

When the rapper and his wife opt to enjoy a basketball game or are performing in Queens, NY, their adorable young daughter enjoys a massive playroom. “Jay rents a luxurious basement suite for $1 million a year," a source tells Us Weekly. Adding, "It has an area for Blue filled with toys."

In addition to the toys, the mostly glass-framed room has a giant television where Blue can watch mommy and daddy perform.

According to the report, Jay’s underground VIP spot is one of the biggest of 11 rooms to rent.

When the room isn’t acting as a playroom for baby Blue, adults can enjoy a large screen television, a champagne bar among other luxury activities available in the room.

The $1 million a year rent is just one of many luxury spoils the bouncy baby enjoys. Daily Mail reports that soon after her birth, Beyonce and her husband gifted their daughter with a $21,000 fantasy crib as well as purchasing a $16,000 high chair which features Swarovski crystals.

Blue Ivy will celebrate her first birthday Monday, January 7!
