Jennifer Lawrence seems to be suffering a bout of illness this awards season.
After telling Ryan Seacrest at the Golden Globes that she had the flu, according to Celebuzz, the 22-year-old actor had to skip Saturday’s Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts’ International Awards, where she won Best Actress.
At the AACTA event hosted in West Hollywood, Lawrence’s Silver Linings Playbook co-star Jacki Weaver accepted the award on her behalf. “I'm going to receive this on her behalf. Poor Jen is really sick. She really is sick. She has pneumonia," said Weaver, according to E! Online.
Lawrence is also nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor. The SAG Awards are set to take place Sunday, January 27, and despite not having talked to her recently, Silver Linings Playbook producer Bruce Cohen believes Lawrence will make the event, according to Us Magazine. "With all her appearances, she hasn't gotten enough bed rest, but I think her plan is to be at the SAGs tomorrow," Cohen said.
