Jennifer Lawrence suffering from pneumonia, costar reveals

Golden Globe winner Jennifer Lawrence is suffering from an unfortunate case of pneumonia.

According to E! News, the Silver Linings Playbook starlet was absent from accepting the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts award for Best Actress, so her costar Jacki Weaver accepted the award on her behalf.

“I'm going to receive this on her behalf. Poor Jen is really sick,” Weaver exclaimed. “She really is sick. She has pneumonia.”

Silver Linings Playbook director Bruce Cohen tells Us Weekly, “With all her appearances, she hasn't gotten enough bed rest, but I think her plan is to be at the SAGs tomorrow…I haven't spoken to her recently."

Lawrence expressed that she wasn’t feeling well when she graced the red carpet two weeks ago where she received her Golden Globes award for her role in Playbook.

Us Weekly notes that Lawrence is up for a Screen Actors Guild award for her performance in the dramady, which costars Bradley Cooper. Fans will see if Lawrence is feeling better tomorrow, as the SAG awards are slated to air at 8P.M on TNT and TBS.
