President Obama’s second inauguration will feature performances by Beyonce, James Taylor and Kelly Clarkson, but late night host Jimmy Kimmel joked about the event on his show last night.
On Wednesday’s show, Fallon joked “The White House announced the theme for President Obama’s inauguration will be ‘Faith in America’s Future’ — which is proof that no one in the White House has ever seen ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”
The former Saturday Night Live cast-member also joked “President Obama’s team is promising special perks for donors who give at last $1 million to the inauguration, which is cool,” adding, “but do you know what else can get you a lot of perks? Keeping that $1 million,” Washington Post reports.
As we previously reported, Beyonce will sing the national anthem, Taylor will sing “America the Beautiful” and Clarkson will sing “My Country, 'Tis of Thee” when the president gets sworn in for a second time.
Stay tuned for more announcements to come about the entertainment for the inauguration.
