Joseph Gordon-Levitt addresses 'Man of Steel' rumor

By Sarah-Burbank-Douglas,

Whether or not The Dark Knight Rises actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt will star in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel film is still a question as the actor hasn’t even heard this most recent rumor involving one of comic books' most iconic characters.

According to Comic Book Movies, Gordon-Levitt was asked if he was set to take on a role in Man of Steel during an interview with MTV.

He responds to the rumor admitting, "I hadn't heard that one. It just goes to show how much you can believe rumors. I don't think you should believe in any of them. If there's something I'm going to be in, I'm going to tell you about it. I put it on my Twitter that I was in Sin City 2, so TRUST me, I'll tell you."

The Inception actor confimed his role in Sin City 2 earlier this month. He joins the likes of Clive Owen, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis and Rosario Dawson.

The 31-year-old actor previously starred in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, the final film in his Batman adaptation.

As for his role in Man of Steel, that still remains just a rumor.
