Justin Bieber being sued by former bodyguard for alleged battery and unpaid wages

By Gina DiFalco,

Justin Bieber just can’t catch a break lately, with his rumored break-up with Selena Gomez, pot smoking scandal, a paparazzo who was chasing his Ferarri dying, and now he’s being sued by his former bodyguard.

The 18-year-old “Beauty and a Beat’ singer is being accused by Moshe Benabou, an ex Israeli solider, of berating and punching him in the chest.

Benabou worked as Bieber’s bodyguard from March 2011 to October 2012, and claims that during a disagreement about another member of Bieber’s staff, the teen pop star punched him multiple times.

Sources for Bieber told TMZ however, that those claims are “absurd” and that he is a "disgruntled employee looking for money."

But Benabou is said to have been fired by Bieber because of a series of lies he told, most specifically that he worked for Justin Timberlake previously.

According to The Huffington Post, Benabou is asking for $421,261 in unpaid overtime, vacation and more.

"For nearly two years Mr. Benabou devoted himself completely to ensuring Mr. Bieber's personal safety," his lawyer, Ilan Heimanson, said in a statement. "Mr. Benabou deserved, as does any employee, to be treated with respect, dignity and in accordance with the law. Unfortunately, he was not. "
