According to Perez Hilton, Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun had built excitement for the upcoming flick the night before on stage in Miami.
“Last time we were in Miami it was crazy, so we’re going to shoot this like we’re shooting a movie. So, for tonight and tomorrow in Miami only, Jon M. Chu, the director of Never Say Never is going to be here with all these video cameras shooting you guys and Justin. Miami, prove us right that you are one of the craziest and loudest cities in the world!”
However, the pre-concert filming never occurred due to Bieber feeling “ill.” Hundreds of fans- many of whom were from the YMCA and Big Brothers, Big Sisters organizations- had already signed release forms and had been promised they would see Justin.
As of now, neither Bieber nor his management have publicly discussed the issue or apologized for making fans wait all day only to pull out from the obligation at the last minute.
