Justin Bieber 'not thrilled' about mother's anti-abortion film, sources state

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Justin Bieber is not too thrilled about the recently revealed anti-abortion video his mother Pattie Mallette is attached to, sources state.

According to Sun Times, a source close to Bieber reveals that the 18-year-singer isn’t thrilled about the attention Mallette’s film Crescendo will bring.

“Justin just is very uncomfortable about political issues — especially ones like abortion that are very divisive. He’s all about entertaining his fans with his music and not interested in pushing a political agenda. ... Furthermore, I don’t believe he agrees with his mom on this issue.”

Additionally, the source informs that the news of the film comes “so soon after a lot of relatively negative stories tied to his own actions. First there was the alleged drug use, then the mooning photo on Twitter this weekend. ... He doesn’t need this [his mother’s role in the anti-abortion film] on top of it.”

Mallette hopes that Crescendo will help to inform women that there are several options out there for unexpected pregnancies. She hopes to raise an estimated $10 million, which will help fund anti-abortion centers across the nation.

Crescendo is slated to debut Feb. 28.
