Justin Timberlake has announced that he is ready to release some fresh, new music.
According to People, the Friends with Benefits actor revealed the exciting news on Twitter Thursday.
“To whom it may concern...I think I'M READY! #JT2013,” he wrote, attaching a link to YouTube where the singer/actor is heard discussing his struggles with “obsessing” about the music and noting he doesn’t want to “put something out there that I don’t love.”
The end of the video reveals a countdown which expires Sunday at midnight. “You just don't get that every day. You have to wait for it. ... I'm ready,” he states. Timberlake doesn’t give fans any further details as to what exactly he is working on- a new song, an album, is he collaborating with anyone else? He does note that he only release two albums in the last ten years, and is looking forward to what this decade may bring.
Since taking a break from music, Timberlake has taken on roles alongside Mila Kunis in Friends with Benefits, Trouble with the Curve, a series of appearances on Saturday Night Live and is slated to appear in Inside Llewyn Davis with Garrett Hedlund, Runner, Runner and The Last Drop.
