Kanye West is 'on a high' since discovering he had a baby on the way with Kim Kardashian

We now know that Kim Kardashian is pregnant thanks to Kanye West spilling the beans at one of his concerts this past weekend.

And although the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has done most of the gushing, saying “We feel so blessed and lucky,” West is reportedly “on a high” and couldn’t be more excited about the impending arrival.

A source tells Hollywoodlife that the rapper is “happy, fortunate and very thankful” about expecting a baby with Kardashian, who be began dating in the spring.

“Right now, he’s just taking it one day at a time but loving every minute of life,” the source continued. “He’s crazy about Kim and now that they’re about to have a baby, it’s overwhelming!”

In West’s song “New Day,” he even raps about what kind of father he will be.

“And I’ll never let my son have an ego / He’ll be nice to everyone, wherever we go / I mean, I might even make ‘em be Republican / So everybody know he love white people / And I’ll never let ‘em leave his college girlfriend / And get caught up with the groupies in the whirlwind.”

“I know he wishes his mom was here to be part of his moment,” the source also said. “It’s sad but he’ll be alright. He’s going to love that kid like you wouldn’t believe.”
