Comedian Micah “Katt” Williams was arrested in L.A. after failing to be present on a court hearing in Sacramento, scheduled for Monday.
The LAPD recognized Williams as a wanted man, and as soon as detectives saw him outside his home, he was put under arrest on an unsettled warrant from the Sacramento County, TMZ reported.
Williams was currently held in $100,500 bail.
According to CBS Sacramento, the Ohio-born comedian had an unsettled warrant for not attending the court hearing for escaping CHP officers in a chase through downtown last November.
Williams was reported to be fully cooperative while the police was arresting him.
He also had a warrant for not attending another court hearing in Yolo County last Wednesday for assaulting a Target employee.
The 39-year-old was videotaped punching a 19-year-old store employee on the same day he fled the CHP officers.
Williams was charged in Seattle and Oakland for irrational behavior in his stand-up shows. After the Seattle charge, he announced his resignation from comedy.
