While Kim Kardashian is a big reality TV star with her hit shows on E!, she reportedly hopes that she can keep the cameras away from her and Kanye West’s baby during infancy.
A source close to the Kardashian family told TMZ that West and Kardashian will keep their lives as parents-to-be out of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and its spin-offs. The couple wants to “ensure real privacy” for their baby.
The baby will not be featured in any episode of the series and there will not be a spin-off about raising the baby, the sources told the site. In addition, a Kim Gives Birth special has already been nixed.
Still, don’t expect Kardashain to stay away from cameras while pregnant. She has no plans to stay outside of camera range since she believes being “pregnant is great and cute.”
In fact, E! President Suzanne Kolb told The Hollywood Reporter that they will be documenting the couple's preparations. "We look forward to sharing the joy as they prepare for more diapers, more bottle and without a doubt, more fabulous baby wear," she said.
Sources for The New York Daily News note that the rest of the Kardashian clan might have other ideas, though. Her mother, Kris Jenner, has reportedly already contacted editors of magazines who would be interested in getting the first pictures.
“(It) likely will sell at $300,000, and that's Kim solo because Kanye always looks so miserable,” the source told the paper.
West and Kardashian confirmed that they are expecting their first child on Monday, with the Kardashian family sharing the big news on their Twitter pages. West made the announcement during a show.
Kardashian’s divorce from Kris Humphries is still not complete. Humphries, who was married to Kardashian for 72 days in 2011 before she filed for divorce, has not commented on the pregnancy news.
