Kris Jenner to get own talk show

Kris Jenner, “momager” to the Kardashian sisters, is set to receive her own talk show called Kris on Fox-owned stations.

According to the LA Times, Kris’ self-titled talk show will be a one-hour show previewed to select Fox stations this summer.

Jenner released a news release, stating the Kris talk show will be a “daily jolt of celebrity guests, fashion & beauty trends; plus a mix of lifestyle topics — all through the distinctive and unpredictable perspective of Kris Jenner.”

Also in the press release, Kris stated: “This is something I have wanted to do all my life so it’s definitely a dream come true! I can’t wait for this new adventure to begin.”

Washington Post reports that the talk show will be tested out during the summer over a six-week period.

Frank Cicha, senior vice president of programming for Fox TV stations, released the following statement about the Kris talk show:

"We go into this believing that if it works, the Kris Jenner program could really complement what we've got going with Wendy [Williams], Bethenny [Frankel], etc."

Kris has had previous experience hosting daytime TV talk shows. She has guest-hosted on NBC’s Today and CBS’ The Talk.
