At the final inauguration event for President Obama, the Staff Ball, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett performed for White House aides and campaign staffers.
There were about 10,000 people at the event, which consisted mainly of those closest to the President and First Lady Michelle Obama. But Gaga and Bennett performed for only $10.
The Huffington Post reports that the “Born This Way” singer, never one to shy away from a fashion moment, didn’t wear your typical black ball gown to the event. Rather, the same woman who donned a dress made out of meat wore an unconventional dress, as expected.
She wore an off white gown with a large skirt, with embellished string-like corseted detail around the bodice and back. She also wore exaggerated embellishments on the shoulders and hip-area.
RadarOnline reports that Bennett surprised the crowd by joining Gaga on stage at the end of her set for the song “The Lady is a Tramp.”
The event took place at the Washington Convention Center.
