Lady Gaga is a big fan of legendary singer Tony Bennett, having performed a duet on the singer’s 2011 album and the two performed together at the final inaugural ball Tuesday night. On Wednesday, Gaga tweeted to her fans that more duets with Bennett might be in her future.
Gaga and Bennett performed for White House aides and staffers. Despite the exclusive crowd, tickets to see the stars perform were just $10. They sang “The Lady is a Tramp,” the track they recorded together on Bennett’s Duets II album.
In another tweet, she expressed how happy she was to sing with Bennett again. “And here's me and my handsome date, I simply cannot wait for our album together, he's my darling!” she wrote.
While she might have just been a little overexcited, fans of Gaga shouldn’t be too surprised if the two singers from different generations work again in the studio.
Gaga is currently working on her next album, ARTPOP. The release will be joined by a documentary.
