LAPD raids Chris Brown's Hollywood home

The officers responded to a hoax 911 domestic violence call.

Chris Brown’s Hollywood Hills home was raided by the LAPD Monday afternoon in response to a prank 911 call.

Police raced to Brown’s house after a caller claimed there was a domestic dispute between a man and a woman involving a gun.

A law enforcement source said that the caller claimed there was a dispute between a mother and father at the residence, and the man had gone to get a gun, according to a report by TMZ.

Police say the caller said that the incident was taking place at Brown’s address, and simply hung up. They did not say whether Brown was at home when they arrived.

Monday’s report is the latest in a string of incidents that Brown has had involving the LAPD.

The department arrested Brown in February 2009 in Hollywood on the domestic violence charges involving Rihanna. Brown pleaded guilty later that year.

The public scandal further escalated when two LAPD officers at the Wilshire station reportedly leaked photos of a beaten and bruised Rihanna to TMZ and Fox right after the 2009 incident. The two officers were each placed on 30-month administrative leave.
