LeAnn Rimes explains why she appears to be crying in picture, has nothing to do with Brandi Glanville

A new LeAnn Rimes/Brandi Glanville battle has ensued after Glanville’s book signing yesterday, during which she had some choice words for her ex-husband’s new wife.

As we previously reported, at a signing for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s book Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders, she said of Rimes,“She can go f—k herself. Well, she has to, because who would want to?”

Soon after, a picture of the Spitfire singer surfaced of her crying, which many thought was a result of Glanville’s comments, E! Online reports.

But Rimes took to her Twitter account to clear the air.

“Boys and girls, I was not crying yesterday at lunch w/ @darrellbrown @EddieCibrian my BFF liz and my little dog toto. :) we ate and hugged goodbye,” she wrote. “I must have been so sad to see all of them go 3 blocks to the establishment where we were all ending up. #givemeabreakwiththebullshitmeadiaheadlinesandstories
