Liam Neeson doesn’t plan to stop running anytime soon. The 60-year-old action star has lined up Run All Night as one of his next projects. It will reunite him with Jaume Collet-Serra, who previously directed him in Unknown.
Deadline broke the news, confirming that Collet-Serra is still in negotiations to direct, but Neeson is a lock to star in the Warner Bros. project.
For this project, Neeson will star as a mob hitman who has to kill his boss while also protecting his family. He is on the run from both the mob and police with his estranged son.
Run All Night was written by Brad Ingelsby, who just finished Christian Bale’s Out of the Furnace, notes Indiewire. His other credits include Hold On To Me and the upcoming American remake of The Raid.
Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee is producing with Brooklyn Weaver and John Middleton is executive producing.
There’s no start date yet, but Collet-Serra and Neeson are currently working on Non-Stop. Neeson is just coming off a huge worldwide hit with Taken 2 and also starred in The Grey in 2012.
His other upcoming projects include Man of Steel, the animated film Lego and Paul Haggis’ The Third Person.
