Fresh off of firing her lawyer, Shawn Holley, Lindsay Lohan is back in court on Tuesday for lying to the cops after an accident this past summer.
Holley was actually on her way to the courthouse to enter a plea deal for her client that would allow her to avoid jail time, but she was served with walking papers by New York lawyer Mark Heller, Lohan’s new attorney.
But according to TMZ, Lohan’s judge was going to allow her to make a plea deal in which she agrees to “lockdown rehab" for 6 months. If she agreed, the judge would’ve thrown out the misdemeanor lying case and the probation violation in the jewelry theft case.
Holley could’ve secured that deal if she weren’t served with walking papers, and sources say Lohan now wants her back.
CBS News reports that Heller, however, is not licensed to practice law in California and Holley will represent her in court on Tuesday.
Heller was suspended from practicing law for 5 years in the ‘90s.
